1) Acceptance & changes

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page; changes apply from the effective date shown.

2) What the site is (information only)

Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. We are not a government service, do not file applications on your behalf, and do not act as your attorney or representative. Do not rely on the site as a substitute for professional advice. For Japan, we do not provide individualized legal advice or representation for compensation as restricted by the Attorney Act (Act No. 205 of 1949), Article 72.

If you opt in to receive promotional emails, we will provide sender identification and an unsubscribe method and handle opt-out requests in line with the Act on Regulation of Transmission of Specified Electronic Mail (Act No. 26 of 2002).

8) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Tokyo, Japan, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
